A History Lesson From My Husband

Mike:  "Guess what the only apple native to North America is?"
Me:  "Red delicious."
Mike: "No. The crab apple. Those tiny, shitty ones that you eat in one bite."
Me:  "Cool."
Mike: "Johnny Appleseed was a real guy. He planted all the apple trees that we have today."
Me:  "Why?"
Mike: "I don't know, he probably liked apples? And he really wore a pot on his head."
Me: "Why?"
Mike: "He was probably just weird."

Frisco

Last weekend we took an impromptu trip to a mountain town named Frisco with some friends. Impromptu is not something we normally do because we are old and boring, but it ended up being really fun and a great first trip to the mountains. In case you needed a reminder of how beautiful it is in Colorado, here you go!

Glasses Giveaway!

Last time I got my eyes checked (which is probably overdue cough cough being an adult sucks) I took off my glasses to put my face in that weird "look at the balloon" machine and the doctor commented on how nice and attractive my glasses were. He went off on them a bit and it took a lot of self control that I don't usually have to not giggle. It helped that my chin was in a strap. The reason it was so funny to me is that we were sitting in a room surrounded by fancy and expensive glasses and he was complimenting me on glasses that cost me about ten bucks. To sum up: Firmoo is awesome and so are their glasses.
