Memories

I realized as I was driving to the work the morning I wore this outfit that I was wearing two things I also wore on my wedding day:  my earrings that the mo-in-law loaned me (I should probably return those...sorry mo-in-law) and the flower I wore in my hair (worn as a pin with this outfit).

I love having these happy little reminders throughout the day of my wedding.
I wish I could say it was the best day of my life, but I can't.
I was such a stress case and was going through so much personally that my hazy happy memories of that day are also marked with stress and anxiety and regret.
But what I do love about reminders of that day is that it also reminds me of every day after, of the happiest days of my life that were to come.
This first year has been literally the best year of my life and every time I'm reminded of that I feel so so lucky.

Can we talk about how crooked my braid bun was all day?!
