Me & Forever 21

Anyone that knows me pretty well knows I hate shopping.

I particularly hate shopping at Forever 21.

It’s loud in there.

And there are just TOO MANY options.

I know I’m an old lady…

But I have recently become addicted to Forever 21’s online sales.

Hence this skirt.
As long as I can continue to get deals, shop in my pajamas and in perfect silence, Forever 21 and I will be good friends.

(I also bought a fedora the other night for five bucks...I may have gone 'round the bend people)

Almost Anniversary

I bought this dress to wear at our rehearsal dinner (which we ended up not having) because it was cute and our wedding colors.

I wore it in our engagement pictures (and looked like a dumpy turd in them btw).

So since it's almost our one year anniversary (seriously that has gone by fast!) I figured I'd bust it back out.

And also try to pose less dumpy this time around...

We Can Do This Monday

We leave for a week long trip to DC on Saturday.

My class doesn't end until Sunday which means I have to cram that whole week into a couple of days.

I'm really behind at work.

I haven't been sleeping well.

It's effing cold and windy here.

BUT I woke up this morning really cheerful and I'm wearing a push up bra today.

So, what could go wrong?

I look pissier in this than intended.

My Boys

I awoke this morning (at 9:30am mind you...I feel so well rested and lazy) to find the husband outside doing yard work and the dogs laying in the sun.

It was too sweet and domestic to pass up taking some pictures.

Ten minutes later the dogs snuck out of the yard through a fallen board and we spent the next 20 minutes hyperventilating, running around the neighborhood, and crying.

But at least these pictures turned out nice.

A Little Boring

This outfit is admittedly a little boring.

But it's see through in the back so everyone can see my butt cheeks and it shows a little cleavage.

So I think that evens it out.

Primary Colors

My husband has a fashion philosophy about wearing primary colors.

He says that as long as its a primary color, it matches.

Every time I'm having a hard time finding shoes for a blue or red dress, he goes straight for my bright yellow ones.

I don't know where he got this from, but he swears by it.

Desert Fashion

There are several reasons why there aren't a lot of girls with fashion blogs living in Ridgecrest.

A big one is the fact that our only clothing stores are Walmart and Kmart.

The one that dawned on me today is that it's freaking WINDY here.

Who wants to take pictures outside every day in this wind?

My eye doctor is being mean to me.

Going To The Dogs

I felt pretty darn cute in this outfit today.

In fact, an old dude said to me,"That's some pretty exciting lipstick."

That's a compliment right?

But these pictures were taken at the end of a very windy, very covered in dog hair day.

So don't judge me.

At least that old guy thought I was cute.

I think.

Gizmo liked my lipstick too.
